To enhance customer acquisition, optimize costs, reduce abandonment rates, and deliver exceptional customer service, the bank is planning to launch a mobile-based digital account opening app. This innovative app is designed to be scalable and user-friendly.

The same mobile app can also be used to introduce various non-financial services to both new and existing customers. Customers will have the convenience of applying for these services anywhere through their smartphones.

The bank is considering three types of account opening options:

• Instant account opening with Aadhar number
• Digital account opening with Aadhar and biometric KYC/Video KYC
• Digital account opening with OVD (Officially Valid Document) and biometric KYC/Video KYC

In addition to digital account opening, the bank is also planning to offer KCC (Kisan Credit Card) renewal services to existing KCC customers.
